Sunday Morning Motorcycle Ride
Article by Mark Trotta
North Carolina has many enjoyable roads for motorcycle riders, and for me, living in the middle of the state, have many directions and destinations to choose from!

The west may have the mountains and the east may have the shoreline, but central NC has it's own special places.
Devils Racetrack Road - Four Oaks, NC
This is a well-known and fabled road; long stretches of straights broken up by several sharp curves.

During the Civil War, this route was taken by General Sherman and his troops on their march from Goldsboro to Raleigh.

Wilson County, NC
Buckhorn Lake is a man-made reservoir which covers an area of 2,100 acres.

The scenery is beautiful 12 months a year.
Most of my Sunday rides aren't about a destination. It's more about deciding on a direction.

And that's it until next Sunday!
